Attendance Protocol

Consistent and timely attendance is vital for student success.

Students attending class
  • Students are expected to be punctual for every class. Attendance will not be recorded for late arrivals exceeding five minutes.
  • While a minimum of 75% attendance is recommended, scholarships are exclusively awarded to those maintaining over 90% attendance.
  • Students falling below the 75% attendance threshold will be ineligible to participate in Semester Examinations.
  • Leave requests must be submitted using the designated form well in advance.
  • Attendance will only be recorded for students with a valid Identity Card and in proper attire.
  • Continuous unexcused absence for three days will result in the removal of the student's name from the attendance roster.
  • Violations may result in academic penalties, suspension, expulsion, or other actions as determined by University authorities.

Anti-Ragging Policy

Ragging is strictly prohibited in this institution.

We believe in providing a safe and conducive environment for all our students. Ragging in any form is a violation of human rights and dignity. Our institution has a zero-tolerance policy towards ragging.

Penalties for Ragging:

Any student found guilty of ragging is liable to be punished appropriately, which may include expulsion from the institution, suspension, fine, or withholding of scholarships.

Anti-Ragging measures

Measures Taken by the Institution:

  • Orientation programs and sensitization workshops.
  • Formation of an Anti-Ragging Committee and Squad.
  • Regular monitoring of campus premises through CCTV cameras.
  • Counseling and support services for victims.
  • Encouraging students to report incidents without fear.

Dress Code Policy

Acceptable Dress Code

In order to maintain a professional and respectful environment, all students are required to adhere to the following dress code.

General Guidelines:

  • Clothing should be clean, neat, and in good condition.
  • For boys: grey pants, white shirt, and black shoes.
  • For girls: grey salwar, white pajama, and black shoes.
  • Offensive slogans or images on clothing are not permitted.

Please ensure that you are aware of any specific dress code requirements for your classes or events.

Student Discipline Rules

Students must recognize their responsibilities towards the faculty, staff, and fellow students. Failure to maintain appropriate standards of conduct will attract disciplinary action.

Acts of Indiscipline:

  • Ragging and eve-teasing.
  • Disruption of classroom activities.
  • Harming the health or safety of staff or students.
  • Possession of intoxicants, drugs, or weapons on campus.
  • Misconduct during examinations.

Library Rules:

  • Open to all students, faculty, and staff.
  • Personal belongings are not allowed inside.
  • Damaged books must be compensated four times their value.
  • A fine of Rs. 10 per day will be charged for overdue books.
  • Reference books are not to be issued.
