Admission Guidelines

The University conducts an Entrance Test for selecting candidates for the MCA course. This test adheres to standardized procedures and is conducted on a nationwide scale to ensure fairness and inclusivity.

Online Application Process: Candidates must apply online with a fee of Rs. 750/- for university students and Rs. 850/- for others.
Application Processing: All applications will be reviewed based on specified qualifications and conditions.
Interview for Selected Candidates: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview. Final admission is based on the combined performance in the Entrance Test and interview.
University's Discretion: The University reserves the right to make final decisions on all admission-related matters.
Single Masterâ€™s Course Registration: Candidates cannot register for more than one Masterâ€™s Course at a time.

Reservation Policy

Admission seat reservations will adhere to the rules set by the State Government or T. M. Bhagalpur University. The reservation percentage set by the State Government will not be exceeded.

Eligibility Criteria

The MCA program has been revised to a 2-year duration in line with AICTE APH 2020-21 guidelines. To be eligible, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Qualification Requirements

BCA, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering, or an equivalent degree.
B.Sc., B.Com., or B.A. with Mathematics at the 10+2 or graduation level. Bridge courses may be required.

Academic Requirements

A minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination for General category candidates.
A minimum of 45% marks for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC).
